Delinquent Taxes

If you will be paying a property tax bill after the due date and need to know how much to pay, contact Iosco County at (989) 362-4409.

The Iosco County Treasurer's Office provides an annual list of important tax dates as well as information about Financial Hardship Extension and Tax Auctions.

Summer Taxes

Each year, the summer tax bill is mailed by July 1 and due by September 14.

After September 14, 1% interest is added each month to the remaining balance of delinquent tax bills. This interest goes to the State of Michigan and Oscoda Area School District.

Winter Taxes

Each year, the winter tax bill is mailed by December 1 and due by February 14.

After February 14, all unpaid taxes are assessed a 3% penalty.

If taxes remain unpaid on February 28, your delinquent tax bill will be turned over to Iosco County.
