This position provides secretarial support to the Administrative Secretary, Chief of Police and other Police Department personnel communicating with a diverse group of callers and visitors, as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization.
The position requires experience in handling a wide range of support related tasks and the ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
The ability to interact with staff in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong decision-making ability and attention to detail are equally important. Starting wage is $15.92 per hour.
This position is part time.
