These are filed in the Assessor’s Office in Township Hall or they can be found on the Assessing Department’s homepage.

Is there a Notary in the Township?
The Clerk’s office provides Notary services to residents free of charge during regular business hours.
How do I purchase a burial space in the Township-owned cemetery?
Oscoda Township owns Pinecrest Cemetery.  Contact the Clerk’s Office for availability and pricing of cemetery lots and services.
How do I register to vote?
Registrations are taken at the Clerk’s Office during regular business hours. You may also register to vote at any Secretary of State Office in Michigan or visit their website.
Who is responsible for Elections in Oscoda?
The Township Clerk is responsible for all local, county, state, and federal elections.  
Where Can I get an Absentee Voter Ballot?
The Township Clerk’s Office during regular business hours. 
Who do I contact about a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request?
The Township Clerk is responsible for processing all FOIA requests. Upon receipt of a request, the document is routed to the proper department for review and follow-up.

Does Old Orchard Park take camper reservations?
Yes. The quickest and most efficient way is to book online by visiting our webpage and clicking on the “Reserve now” button. You may also call our office at (989) 739-7814.
Can I camp at Old Orchard Park without a reservation?
If there are available sites that do not have reservations on them. However, you must contact the park office before setting up on a site. Please call the office at (989) 739-7814.
How many camping units can I have on a site at Old Orchard Park?

You may have ONE wheeled unit and ONE tent, or two tents.

Is there WIFI at Old Orchard Park?
Yes the park has a WIFI provider inside our campground. There are informational signs located through the park to help you connect.
Does Old Orchard Park have Group camping?
Yes, we have waterfront and non-waterfront group areas. Both areas are rustic and have a minimum of three (3) campers and a maximum of eight (8) campers.
Does Old Orchard Park allow seasonal sites?
Yes we offer rustic waterfront and backlot sites. We also offer electric/water seasonal sites. Please refer to our rates page for pricing.
Are pets allowed at Old Orchard Park?
Pets are not allowed inside cabins or yurts, however, pets are allowed in the campground. Please follow pet rules and leash requirements for the safety of your pets and other campers.
What are check in and check out times at Old Orchard Park?
Check in time is 3:00 p.m. and check out time is 12:00 p.m.
Are we allowed extra camping units at the cabins or yurts?

No additional motor homes, camper trailers, tents or other sleeping units allowed at yurts or cabins.

Who maintains the roads in Oscoda Township?
As a Township, Oscoda does not plow or maintain roads. The Township works with the County Road Commission to ensure the safety of our roads. You can learn more at http://www.ioscoroads.org/

When are water and sewer bills due?
Utility bills are due on the 25th of each month unless that falls on a weekend or Holiday. If that happens the bills are then due on the next business day. Utility bills are mailed out monthly. Failure to receive your bill does not waive past due penalty. Click here for the Water Supply and Sewer usage payment policy.
How do I pay my water and sewer bill?
There are numerous options available through the Treasurer's Office for you to make one-time and recurring payment.  The Treasurer's Office Payment Options page provides a detailed description of the methods of payment accepted by Oscoda Township.
Is there a fee to make payments using credit or debit cards?
Yes.  As described on the Treasurer's Office Payment Options page, Oscoda Township is working with Point and Pay to provide over-the-phone payments using a credit/debit card.  To use this service, a convenience fee will be assessed by Point and Pay and included with your payment.  No portion of this convenience fee is shared with Oscoda Township.  Refer to the Payment Options page for the fee schedule.
