Zoning Board of Appeals

The Zoning Board of Appeals consists of five members appointed by the Township Board. The ZBA serves as a quasi-judicial body that hears and decides matters relating to the application of the Zoning Ordinance including a variance from an Ordinance standard, an appeal of a Planning and Zoning Director's decision, or an interpretation of an Ordinance provision.

The Zoning Board of Appeals meets on the third Monday of each month as necessary at 6:00 p.m. and held temporarily at Robert J. Parks library. Current members of the ZBA are:

The Zoning Board of Appeals consists of five members appointed by the Township Board. Member appointments are for 1, 2, or 3 years following their appointment date, as established by the Township Supervisor. The Township Board is required to appoint/reappoint one third (1/3) of the membership annually with the exception of elected official. Elected official's term expires with their election term. Officers are selected annually at the June regular meeting.
